Oven
- Pre-heat oven to 375 F.
- Place pork chop in an uncovered shallow pan.
- Cook at 375 F.
- Approximate 1" pork chop should be cooked for 20-25 minutes.
- Use instant-read thermometer to ensure internal temperature has reached 145 F.
Grill
- Pre-heat grill with medium-high heat.
- Lightly oil grate.
- Place pork chop 4" from heat.
- Approximate 1" thick pork chop should be cooked for 8-12 minutes. Flipping once.
- Use instant-read thermometer to ensure internal temperature has reached 145 F.
Pan Fry
- Pre-heat skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add 1 tablespoon of butter to cover surface of skillet.
- Add pork chop to skillet.
- Approximate 1" thick pork chop should be cooked for 8-10 minutes. Flipping once.
- Use instant-read thermometer to check that internal temperature has reached 145 F.
Spiced Peach Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork chops, 1 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon flour, ½ teaspoon of salt, ¼ teaspoon cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon ground allspice, 1 tablespoon butter, 1 teaspoon mustard, 1 - 16 oz. can sliced peaches in juice, drained.
Cooking Directions
- In a small bowl stir together paprika, flour, salt, cinnamon, and allspice. Sprinkle on both sides of chops.
- In a large nonstick skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat; cook chops on both sides, turning once, for a total of about 7-8 minutes.
- In a small bowl stir mustard and peach slices together; add to skillet; cook and stir until heated through.
